Welcome to 'Word on the Street'. Its a new series featuring the sights and activities primarily around streets of Auckland. Anyway for those of you in Auckland, Happy Anniversary Weekend. There is a lot on around the city and hopefully you'll be able to get out to one of the fun events.

Stormtroopers: Australian Open

There have been plenty of great matches during the Australian Open over the last week and a half. However the only representations New Zealand had in Australia was in the form of esteemed sporting journalist James McOnie from (see http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/tennis/4546019/NZ-journalist-stalking-Maria-Sharapova). 

What everyone didn't know was that the Mini Stormtroopers were there as well.

Well hello. Welcome to my journey of photographic self discovery. I will be posting photos of the different sightings and events as well as the (nearly) daily photos of the Mini Stormtroopers and their crazy adventures.

Hopefully I would have made some improvement along the way (let me know if you think I'm back sliding). If not the Mini Stormtroopers should provide you with some amusement. Because you can't go wrong with Stormtroopers!!
