We are the champions...

After 24 years the All Blacks have once again won the Rugby World Cup for the second time and champions  of the world.

Here's the crowd at Captain Cook Wharf as the final whistle was blown.

RWC Final 2011 Pre-game Build up: Captain Cooks Wharf

With Queens Wharf and The Cloud filled to capacity Captain Cooks Wharf was opened to handle the excess crowd and not long after it also was filled. Those who managed to make it danced to kiwi music while they counted the hours down to the start of the RWC 2011 Grand final between France and the All Blacks.

RWC Final 2011 Pre-game Build up: Queen Street and Fan Trail

New Zealand was abuzz all week about the 2011 Rugby World Cup final of the All Blacks v France. The Atmosphere was buzzing on Queen Street at 5pm with chants of 'All Blacks' and the majority of the crowd dressed in black.

Most of the crowd where on the fan trail to Eden park. Every couple of hundred meters there was a street performer and at every bus stop a band belting out tunes on their instruments  in  the late afternoon sun. The rest where heading down to the fan zones at the bottom of Queen Street or to a bar to catch the final game of RWC 2011.
